4 Steps to Getting Started in the SaaSOps Community

​​​​​​Welcome to the SaaSOps Community, the largest community in the world for SaaSOps Professionals! If you’re new to the community, then you’re in the right place. Follow the steps below to learn how you can get the most out of this community. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the community managers by emailing: help@saasops.community. Let’s jump right into it!
 

1) Login and setup your profile
 

Before you can get involved in the conversation and the community, you must first sign up and configure your profile. Click “Login / Sign Up’ as shown in the screenshot below to create your account.

 

 

Once you’re logged in, navigate to your profile and adjust your settings as needed.
 

2) Introduce yourself!

 

Take a moment to introduce yourself to the community. There are community members from all over the world, all organization sizes, and a wide variety of industries. You never know who you’ll meet by a simple introduction. Introduce yourself in the thread below!

 

3) 💬 Join the Slack

 

This community’s Slack instance has been around since 2016 and is one of the most active IT-focused Slack’s in the world. This particular Slack is unique in that it syncs directly with this community, so if you prefer to use the web interface, you don’t have to worry about missing a conversation.

4) Subscribe to topics of interest

 

The SaaSOps Community is broken down into 3 main categories:

  • SaaSOps - general SaaSOps Discussion and best practices, ie: #it-support, #security, #remote-it, etc
     
  • BetterCloud - all BetterCloud related discussion
     
  • Apps - discussion related to specific SaaS apps, ie: #google-workspace, #microsoft365, #slack, etc

if you’d like notification for posts to a specific sub-topic (ie… #google-workspace), navigate to the sub-topic page and click the Subscribe button.
