I want my ticket system to send a request to BetterCloud to run an specific workflow, let's say for on-boarding a new user.
Is this something possible?
I know that I can execute a workflow from a API call but, how do I set the "WHEN" Statement, to say something of the line. Do nothing and use this payload from the api call?

so to clarify — today the API call to BetterCloud is the WHEN statement

You could do ticketing system -> BetterCloud API action to create (Gsuite?) user -> Workflow triggered off new user created -> continue onboarding steps in Workflow
Oh! I see, do something that trigger an alert then the alert triggers the workflow

You may want to have the workflow run the create user action, which would in turn trigger a workflow
