Hi All,

Quick question, what's the best way to do monitoring via API or constant check via until expected results.

Specifically, I am trying to check if a ticket is on a particular status and if so, then continue with the workflow. But it feels that try the call until success is the wrong approach as it may takes days for someone to action the ticket.

May be something you want to create two Workflows for (depending on how you have things set-up)

I'd imagine first Workflow starts and creates the ticket

then when the ticket reaches a certain stage it can send a webhook to BetterCloud telling it to initiate the second Workflow

Actually that will work. Any ideas on how to go about if there multiple ticket to be check for example, check if ticket 1,2,3 are the X status to execute this workflow? - Can send individual webhook for each ticket but that will mean each ticket will execute the workflow.

Tags are prob your best bet (if available)

We use Jira service desk.

It works! Wonderful. Thanks a bunch. They don't have tags per say but i found could group them under another criteria and then initialize the webhook and start the workflow.
