Can I use Okta Event hooks with workflows?

If account created in Okta —— lookup email in SF —— if no record add it to SF ——if record tick attribute

@cal.krome is right, any “create new user” actions would auto fail if the user already exists.

You could also have an If condition based on Okta Dept, so say IF Not in Sales Dept, THEN Add to Sales Dept, allowing Okta to handle Auth/Provisioning on the SSO/IDaaS side of things.

and I want to update their records in SF to include that they registered

I think I can do this with event hooks in okta, but maybe I can just connect this other Okta tenant to BC and do a workflow
