I have experience with a few of the bigger names, but I’m curious what folks’ favorite team password managers are?
I have a lovehate relationship with 1password
I use lastpass for all my personal accounts and we use 1Password business here at work. Both have their own pros and cons
1pw for me
Still waiting for G Suite provisioning support ☹
keeper has been good. surprisingly cheap and has SAML and SCIM provisioning
you do need to deploy a server for SAML though
@vrklgn is that 1pw feature actually planned? Or is this a secret wish that you’re saying out loud?
b/c I have the same wish
Is Zoho Vault worth a damn? Price to feature ratio is compelling
@mlynch i believe the problem might be on the g suite end and they only think about the scim bridge
We have keeper as well. It sounds like they are going to get rid of the server requirement for SAML support in a future release.
thanks @jared.martin . i will let my colleague know. we've been looking at setting up high availability
Myki was pretty cool tech wise
@brian.kim We have HA in theory with some of our network network gear and two SSO servers. Its a manual change if something happened, but better than nothing I guess. The serverless feature will be the best as we can get rid of all of that stuff then.
we use LastPass Enterprise, which has worked pretty well (with SSO also) for the past few years. I just started using 1password personally (to replace dashlane), which I mostly like.
@blair why Bitwarden over Lastpass or 1Password?
Lastpass is my preference. Inherited 1Password and I'm not a fan.
@blair What's your experience been with Bitwarden so far? I've been a longtime LP user but i'm considering switching to BW.
I switched awhile ago personally, and I find it just about the same as LastPass as far as functionality. I haven't deployed to an Org yet, through from what I have read it isn't incredible difficult, especially if you are already running your own services.
On the topic of Keeper SSO server requirement.. I noticed the admin console doesn't prompt for SSO server URL anymore, but it still connects to the SSO server.
@jared.martin have you rolled out keeper sso connect cloud yet? seems like they released this rather quietly.
We are onboarding new users to the Cloud option, existing users are staying with the SSO servers until they have a better conversion process.
thanks. that's what @su.song’s gathered from Keeper support as well. (expected in Q1?)
