and it worked. had to configure the MDM server and/or connect to an open wi-fi.

Ah yeah the wifi issue. I ended up sending a wifi config profile to it so it would connect, that helps a lot too if open is not available.

The entire manual process is a pain though. It seems to be hard for some departments for some reason to not go out and buy stuff on their own 🤷
