Is anyone using OMM Device Trust with iOS?

We are currently using OMM with Device Trust, have been using it for maybe 3-4 years. It is depracated but they will still sell it at a big discount, however the MDM features are lacking. We are getting ready to migrate our iOS devices to another MDM but continue to use Device Trust

Although Okta may not be selling it anymore, we we have access and Okta support reassured me they’re still supporting it.

@mgosto yea i think that is true, it checks the first time you try to add the account. unfortunately with mdm unless you use dep for all devices the profile can be removed from the device by the end user. we state that an employee is not allowed to remove it in our employee handbook which they have to sign so if someone did that they would be in breach of their employment agreement

we use to dep the phones we purchased for employees but since the phones remain their property we had a lot of issues with getting everything unenrolled and off dep when employees left (it required a wipe of the phone which a lot of people didnt want to do), so now we only dep laptops which stay with the company so we dont have to worry about removing dep

so if you wanted to use DEP youd have to use another MDM that worked with Device Trust

We are on Kandji now (disclaimer we invested in them)

They recently released functionality to integrate with Device Trust so will be migrating iOS to them
