Looking to have two teammates sit in one large office and wanted see if there is anything anyone can think of to minimize the noise level when people on the phone.

I was thinking of a divider or something like

Its really hard, phonebooths are the best option. I was about to install this in our new office, the hanging panels on tracks allow to open and close the space a bit but it only cuts the sound a little https://turf.design/flow/

We did https://zenbooth.net/ very happy with them so far, although not many data points considering our office is closed haha

The height adjustable desk works great with a stool/chair or standing so nice for long meetings

Phonebooths are the ultimate solution here. IKEA sells wool/felt lined dividers that will help but not fix it. Sound dampening foam (a la a recording studio) will help with echo and loudness, but, not going to be ... super great. This is a problem when you, say, put sales in one section of an office, or recruiters in one desk pod.

FYI We had one those phone booth’s at my last job.

It was hot and stuffy (poor air ventilation) and acted almost like a faraday cage, so wifi issues galore. This was with an access point only ~15 feet away.

Zenbooth has a little fan in it, def gets a little hot still. Wifi has been decent but I put APs right over them and they have ethernet adaptors in each one.

If this is along term thing you could also look into building an actual wall divide the space.

We used https://newyorksoundproofing.com/ in our NYC office back in 2014. They did a great job and didn't cost that much.
