anyone have any experience with dictation software/features for Windows 10? a senior colleague has a broken wrist and is looking for a way to reply to emails, etc.

I mostly have experience with screen reader/dictation software. but I do think windows (as well as mac) have touchless control options, under accessibility. Plus if you’re a google shop, the dictation has gotten pretty good within the google apps.

+1 on the Google dictation, it's come a looong way.

I had a friend who used Dragon years ago in school, but haven't heard much about it being used for work/emails/etc

Unfortunately Gmail doesn't have dictation/voice typing like Google Docs does - but I'm exploring the google-y extension options...

Honestly for dictating email, mobile is probably easier, if slightly more difficult

I second using mobile, I use Gboard on my Android phone and the dictation on it is excellent. But I never tried using it to write a long email so that could be a challenge.
