My organization has approved us to roll out Slack to our network office staff. I know that Slack provides its own "introduce Slack to the workforce" like articles, but was wondering if anyone had any general guidance/best practices/things to avoid as you rolled out Slack in your own organizations?

I would recommend that you get executives to advocate Slack to your company. Also get employees to be Slack "champions" in your organization. Another thing to look out for is how Slack will be used. Most employees will see it as a IM tool. You need to cast vision on how the tool will be used in your company.
