for google-to-google migration experts.. is it possible to migrate google sites? (not sure if it's classic or new at the moment). cloudm says no (for new sites)

I thought the new Google Sites were just considered Drive files, but I could be wrong. I’ve never actually tried to migrate them unfortunately

i think a possible workaround is to share from source to destination and make a copy

I would think that would work. A bit tedious but it might save some work

looks like i can probably manage with gam print filelist mimetype gsite and then updating the ACLs 76d2a1a300707272.gif

That's what we have done, share and make a copy.

@brian.kim they can be moved with the magic Shared Drive intermediate.

has anyone migrated classic sites? i thought i might be able to do it using 0366f7b39b11255a.gif but looks like after ownership change it's still referencing the old domain in the URL.

Checked over on Steegle? They should know.

Aren't new Sites just a file type? Why don't they migrate?

(oh - now see that question up-thread ...)

tested (with new sites) you can share, then duplicate (no API) available.
or you can move to Shared Drive.

cloudm confirmed classic sites can be migrated

Its bad that there is not a good api available
