Hello! Looking for some ideas on how to handle recurring meetings with deactivated hosts. We have Okta deactivating leavers and downgrades their Zoom account to ‘Basic’. For the leavers who have recurring meetings scheduled for others, how do you handle the ownership of those meetings? We can’t transfer them to a container account since Zoom only supports 2 concurrent meetings for one user. Trying to see if there’s a smart way to do it without other participants reaching out to Zoom admins to manually transfer meeting ownership.

I think Zoom allows you to transfer meetings when you delete a user. Is that an option?

yes it is an option but we are trying to find a way not having to manually find a new owner and have the meetings running unless someone reaches out to request to change the ownership. just wondering workflow wise how other folks are handling this

tbh we take our zoom offboarding one step further and delete the user, and I’ve legitimately never heard of an issue in the 3 years I’ve been here. I don’t think we’ve ever transferred the meetings so I’m pretty sure our users just reschedule them when someone leaves 🤷 d54b736517b1aad8.gif

Yeah, you would hope the other people who attend that meeting know that the host is leaving the company
