What Windows computers are the bee’s knee’s for your engineers right now? I am considering 13/15" laptops right now with 32 GB of Ram.

We buy Lenovo's and then remove windows and install Ubuntu on them 😉

Our windows solution engineers have had good runs with Lenovo

We typically go with Lenovo X1's but was curious what others use.

We have a few X1's and they are fantastic but the devs wanted more RAM and AMD has better Linux compatibility.

We've been using Dell Precision 5550s with 32 GB RAM for PC peeps. 16-inch MacBook Pros with same ram for  folk

I prefer Dell's hardware over Lenovo. The Latitude and XPS lines are nice.

Haven't had a chance to really put the newer ones through the paces, but I find Microsoft's own hardware compelling.

You can order Dell XPS with Linux from the factory as well, they have good support for that.
